Franklin County Schools seeks a dedicated Behavior Support Assistant to prepare and organize behavior-support materials and visuals for students. You will assist in creating visual schedules and individualized supports under the guidance of the Behavior Support Coordinator.
Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, conducting student check-ins, documenting activities, and communicating observations while upholding confidentiality and district policies.
Term: remainder of 2026-27 school year; This position is dependent on continuation of funding source.
To ensure the safety and welfare of students and staff, the district shall require criminal history background checks and fingerprinting of applicants for teaching positions and any other positions that require proximity to children. Additionally, satisfactory results from a required pre-employment drug screen as well as checks with various state/federal registries are required before an applicant is actually employed by Franklin County Schools.
