Job summary

Rutherford County Schools seeks a dedicated paraeducator to support classroom instruction in Roanoke, VA (location may vary). Under the supervision of a certified teacher, you’ll reinforce skills, guide small groups, and provide constructive feedback to students.

You must be a positive role model, able to follow oral and written instructions, and maintain organized schedules. Requirements include an associates degree or higher, or 48 college hours or passing the ParaPro Assessment.

Job description

• Hold an associates degree or higher; OR *Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR *Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment
