Job summary

Rutherford County Schools is seeking a para-professional to support students in small groups, reinforce skills, and provide constructive feedback under the guidance of a certified teacher.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or higher, or 48 college hours, or has passed the ParaPro Assessment, and demonstrates reliable computer skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hold an associates degree or higher; OR 48 hours at an accredited institution; OR pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
• Working computer knowledge.
• Multi-tasked oriented, Firm, Team Player.
• Able to work with small groups of students to reinforce skills, answer questions, provide constructive feedback
• Must be a positive role model for young children
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• Establish effective schedule and work routines
• Able to work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties
