Job summary

Auburn School Department Edward Little High School in Auburn, ME is seeking an Education Technician Technology to troubleshoot student tech issues, manage asset workflows, and support Google Apps for Education. You will maintain databases, assist with asset distribution, and coordinate with administrators and staff to ensure secure, efficient technology operations.

The role reports to the Technology Director and requires a valid CHRC fingerprint and Maine Ed Tech certification, with an Associate

Qualifications

  • CHRC Fingerprint and Maine Ed Tech certification required.
  • Candidate must have citizenship, residency or work visa.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot technology assets with students.
  • Facilitate sending and returning assets to/from repair depot.
  • Maintain MLTI databases (Asset Manager, PowerSchool, JAMF).
  • Assist with distribution and collection of technology assets.
  • Support Google Apps for Education (Account management, school website).
  • Support other software used by administration and teachers.
  • Attend regional/district meetings as appropriate.
  • Be respectful and discreet with student and teacher data.
  • Maintain privacy and security of passwords.
  • Work as part of the district technology team.
  • Coordinate with school administration and staff.
  • Directly report to Technology Director.
