Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Education Technician (Ed Tech) in Portland, ME for a contract-full-time position. The School Aide will assist students needing instructional and behavioral support under the supervision of the special education team, and may provide mobility and therapeutic care as required.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with CPR if applicable, and health clearance per contract/state rules. You must be 18+ and able to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• Provide personal, mobility, and therapeutic care support to students as needed.
