Job summary

Amergis in Maine is seeking an Education Technician (Ed Tech) to implement behavioral intervention plans and support educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs, collaborating with school professionals and behavior specialists to reach learning goals.

The role requires Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State CBT license (as applicable), supervision by a BCBA/BCABA, and a focus on safety, privacy, and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license where required.
• Must be supervised by a BCBA or BCABA.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• CPR and health documentation as applicable by state or contract.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention plans and ABA services under supervision.
• Facilitate educational and behavioral activities with children and adults with special needs.
