NCSS is seeking an Educational Team Leader to join the team at Soar Learning Center. In this role, you’ll provide educational and instructional leadership while supporting a team of teachers, special educators, and other educational staff. You’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day work at Soar, helping ensure students receive high-quality academic and special education programming that is responsive to their individual needs.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys developing staff, collaborating with families and school partners, solving problems, and finding ways to continually strengthen educational programming. You’ll work closely with school leadership and interdisciplinary team members to connect academic, behavioral, clinical, safety, and operational planning, while ensuring that IEP requirements, Vermont standards, and applicable special education regulations are being met.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a Vermont Special Education license is required. Two or more years of special education teaching experience is strongly recommended. We’re looking for someone with strong communication, leadership, problem‑solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills who can confidently balance the needs of students, families, staff, and school partners.
