Two years of post high school education or higher, or be able to pass a standardized test approved by the state of South Dakota, for designated Education Support Professional positions.
EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
One to three years of sustained employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires constant hand-eye, mind-eye coordination, hearing; intermittent grasping, keyboarding, speaking, and writing. Frequent filing, sitting, standing, and walking are also required. The ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and the ability to drive a car are also required. Regular contact with students with emotional and conduct related disorders.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Regular, reliable attendance. Experience with behavior management. Ability to use a computer for word processing and data entry. Ability to maintain confidential information. Frequent exposure to physical and verbal abuse. Due to the nature of a behavior program and of the students assigned, required the ability to work in a stressful environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

*Thisposition earns the Education Support Professional differential pay. Each position that qualifies for the Education Support Professional differential pay earns an additional $2 per hour.
Pay Day: Last working day of each month,based on thepayroll cutoff schedule.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break
