Job summary

Forestlawn Elementary School in Sheffield Lake, Ohio is seeking a Pupil Personnel Paraprofessional (Special Education) to support students with special needs. The position is part-time, 30 hours per week, with a base rate of $16.31 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities, assignments, and classroom routines.
• Assist students with personal hygiene and cleanliness as needed.
• Work directly with individual students and/or small groups to reinforce and support material initially introduced by the teacher.
• Assist with clerical duties and the preparation of progress reports as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and conferences related to the special education needs of assigned students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher, Building Principal, Director of Special Education, or designee.
