Qualifications

• Requires resume and at least 2 letters of recommendation.
• Fingerprint/background check will be required.
• Must meet NCLB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in groups with lessons to reinforce learning concepts.
• Present subject matter using various methods such as lecture and one-on-one reading as directed by the teacher.
• Confer with teaching staff on student progress.
• Assess student ability and progress as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with record keeping, copying, filing and grading papers.
• Monitor and assist students in classroom and lunch room.
• Assist with loading and unloading children from buses.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop educational material.
• Assist teachers in communicating with parents regarding student progress.
