Job summary

Alverno College seeks experienced clinical supervisors to review lesson plans, observe lessons, and mentor future educators and administrators. Supervisors provide feedback aligned with state standards and work across districts in SE Wisconsin.

Assignments vary by student enrollment and semester; travel to multiple school sites is expected; strong communication, confidentiality, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a Wisconsin teacher and/or administrator license (or previously held)
• Bachelor degree or Master of Arts in Education degree from an accredited university
• Ability to schedule weekday visits to school sites throughout the semester
• Ability to provide narrative feedback to students verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Review lesson plans and observe lessons
• Assist in developing administrativestrategies, provide feedback on strategy implementation
• Serve as mentors to future educators and administrators
• Coordinate with instructors, mentors, and other supervisors to enhance the clinical experience
