  • Collect and analyze data regularly to track student progress toward IEP goals, inform instruction, and communicate growth to families.
  • Develop and adapt daily and long‑term lesson plans aligned with both IEP goals and KIPP’s academic vision.
  • Partner with general education teachers to modify materials and differentiate instruction to meet students’ diverse learning needs.
  • Support the training and development of paraeducators and other staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality instructional support.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and rigorous learning environment that incorporates Restorative Practices, Social Emotional Learning, and culturally responsive approaches.
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with students, families, and colleagues to ensure alignment and partnership in supporting student success.
  • Maintain accurate, organized student records, including IEP documents, progress reports, and evaluations.
  • Engage fully in ongoing professional development and Communities of Practice to continually refine instructional and equity‑centered practices.

    • Strong content knowledge and instructional skills.
    • Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Classroom, etc.) and openness to learning new educational technologies (e.g., Zoom, Nearpod).

Physical: Ability to navigate school and classroom settings, access and utilize technology, and occasionally lift or carry equipment 1‑20 lbs. Maneuverability includes kneeling, walking, pushing/pulling, squatting, twisting, turning, bending, and reaching overhead. Mental: Manage deadlines, analyze problems, work with interruptions, concentrate for long periods, read, calculate, perform routine math, and memorize and recall information.
