Sentara Health is seeking an Education Specialist - Inpatient Case Management to support orientation and ongoing preceptorship for new staff, managers, residents, medical staff and physician advisors.

The role coordinates educational classes, including medical necessity and technology trainings, and assists with in-services to maintain case management certification and stay current on topics across care coordination.

Qualifications

• RN-Bachelor's Degree is required (Education Specialist role).
• VA/NC/Compact/Multi-State Nursing license accepted.
• Certification in Case Management required; if not certified, must be completed within one year of hire.
• 3 years acute care experience required.
• 1 year training experience required.
• 3 years case management experience required.
• 1 year experience as an educator required.

Responsibilities
