Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an Education Specialist to design and implement learning activities using adult learning principles. The role partners with the management team to identify and prioritize learning needs, and to develop and implement plans addressing those needs while evaluating intervention outcomes.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing, adult education, or another appropriate field, with a master’s degree preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Require a bachelor's degree in nursing, adult education, or another appropriate field. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Require three (3) years of related experience or a master's degree and one (1) year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer recent teaching experience with adult learners (in the past 3 years).
• Prefer expertise and skills in clinical, computer, adult education, or another related field.
