Socket.dev is seeking an Education Specialist/Programs to support Conservation Education. The role is part-time and focuses on developing and delivering education programs, school and community outreach, and supervising seasonal staff.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in education/zoology or related field, 1–2 years of conservation education experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain clearances.

This position develops, prepares and conducts education programs.
Performs other related duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in education, zoology or related field and one to two years’ experience in conservation and/or informal education or related field is required. Strong organizational and time management skills are required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with computer software programs, presentation skills and attention to detail are required. Valid Pa driver’s license is required, along with FBI Clearances, Act 33 and 34 clearances. Position may be physically demanding and has to lift up to 50 lbs.
This position works primarily indoors and also works outdoors in all weather conditions; must be available nights, weekends and holidays. Some travel may be required.
