Little Hands Daycare is a licensed childcare center seeking an energetic Education Specialist who is passionate about early childhood education. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated professional.

To qualify, candidates need an associate in early childhood education or 21 ECE credits plus a business administration course and prior lead teacher experience in a licensed childcare setting. Shift is Monday through Friday, full-time, with compensation at $19 per hour.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Program development and Childcare Teacher interaction development
  • Review classroom interactions, behaviors, routines toidentifydevelopment needs andprovidesupport per CD.
  • Identifytraining/resource needs in areas of program, sanitation, regulatory compliance with CD andprovidehands on support where needed orrequested.
• Assist CD with special projects and childcare classroomenvironments
• Lesson Planning and Program development
  • Incorporate developmentalobjectivesinto LP’s and oversee modification requests of staff.
  • Integrate activities and developmental goals into Tadpole system and Daily Reports.
• Classroom Observations and Maintenance
  • Conduct classroom observations as needed or requested by CD using current monthly observation forms.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
