Responsibilities
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in the education sector.
- Use SMART’s sales process to acquire new education customers.
- Expand SMART solutions in defined education customers.
- Develop relationships in strategic education consortiums, training centers, and DOEs.
- Develop and implement professional development plans that align with instructional goals.
- Leverage SMART's Professional Learning resources to support customer adoption, renewal, and expansion to support the customer journey.
- Foster a thriving community of ambassadors by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding ambassadors.
- Engage an online community through connecting and posting on social media.
- Attend local and regional trade shows, seminars, conferences, and customer events.
- Work with SMART's marketing and product management teams.
- Produce high-quality sales and professional development activity reports.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of professional learning and make necessary improvements.
- Operate at very senior levels within complex customer organizations with multiple decision makers.
Purpose of the position
As an Education Solutions Consultant, you will be a vital part of our mission to improve instructional outcomes with SMART solutions. Your duties will focus on developing the end-user customer base for SMART in the South-East Pod. Some of the specific duties will include:

Skills Required
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team environment that consists of the Pod Director, Area Manager, Area Representative, and Demand Gen Manager.
- Strong working knowledge of SMART’s products and the ability to learn new SMART solutions as they are introduced.
- Ability to present in front of large groups with confidence and knowledge of both hardware and software as presentation tools.
- Strong education acumen.
- High proficiency with technology.
- Self-starter capable of learning new skills independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Education and Work Experience
- Degree in business, education, marketing, or a related field.
- Ideal experience as a former educator.
- At least two years of experience in education or sales in a fast-paced, technology-driven business.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers.
Supervision provided and received
- The position is field-based, working independently under the guidance of the Regional Solutions Manager.
- The Regional Manager will conduct weekly 1-1s and field travel throughout the year.
Working conditions
- Ability to work independently from a home office and travel up to 70%.
- Ability to obtain a passport and travel to Canada.
- Pass all district-level background checks to work effectively in the K-12 environment.
