Job summary

Solar One in New York City seeks an Education Program Administrator to support the Green Design Lab’s Environmental Education Center, Career & Technical Education, and STEM Education programs. The role focuses on administering systems, coordinating logistics, invoicing, purchasing, and maintaining records.

On-site work at the Environmental Education Center in Manhattan is required, and a NYS driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative/coordination/operations experience.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Customer service skills with educators, families, and students.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing of program expenses and input receipts into expense software.
• Inventory supplies for program use and maintain materials.
• Prepare documents for invoicing program partners.
• Assist with data management and analysis of program metrics.
• Support data visualization of post-program surveys.
• Arrange transportation for program materials as needed.
• Collaborate with operations, fiscal, and development teams on procedures and records.
