Job summary

Hands of Heartland is seeking a Team Member Coordinator - Education in Omaha, NE. This full-time role oversees educational programming and supports staff who assist students with IDD, ensuring high-quality, compliant services that meet school requirements.

You will lead, schedule, train, and coordinate to promote positive student outcomes and staff success, maintaining communication with families and districts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children, youth, or adults with developmental disabilities or support needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily educational programming and student supports.
• Ensure services align with IEPs, behavior support plans, and individual goals.
• Develop and maintain staffing schedules for supervision and support.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and support to paraeducators and education staff.
• Conduct training for new paraeducators.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to responsibilities.
• Collaborate with staff to address students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
