What You Will Be Doing

  • Crafting comprehensive charter applications that align with state and district mandates
  • Engaging in discussions with educational authorities to ensure clarity and compliance
  • Refining proposals through stakeholder feedback and expert insight
  • Coordinating with the Director of Charter Growth to strategize timelines and objectives
  • Identifying and addressing any gaps in application content proactively

  • Adhering to a rigid, pre-defined template or making minor edits to existing documents
  • Waiting for direction before initiating action
  • Slowing down to match the pace of traditional education systems
  • Focusing on outdated school models or maintaining the status quo

Education Program Manager Key Responsibilities

Drive the approval process for innovative 2 Hour Learning school charters by producing compliant and compelling application sections.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Proven track record in managing complex, long-form written projects
  • Exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Experience with charter school systems, particularly in applications or authorizations
  • Residency within the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
