Job summary

Alpha School is seeking an Education Program Manager to lead a high‑performing team of Guides and to drive stellar student outcomes across multiple campuses. You will build and supervise life‑skills programs, coach staff, and ensure uncompromising standards while expanding our network of Alpha campuses.

The role emphasizes data‑driven decision making, people leadership, and launching new campuses from zero, with relocation support and on‑site work at select locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and continuous improvement.
