JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Education Program Coordinator supports the development and delivery of educational programs, managing logistics such as materials, registration, record-keeping, staffing, marketing, data collection, analysis, long-range planning, and budget management.

  1. Facilitate the administration of educational programs to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  2. Process course/program registrations and recommend workflow improvements.
  3. Coordinate budget preparation, monitor budgets, analyze data, and initiate payments.
  4. Coordinate recruitment and hiring of instructors/presenters.
  5. Develop marketing strategies and oversee the creation/distribution of marketing materials.
  6. Design layouts and formats for documents, web content, and materials.
  7. Make policy and program portfolio recommendations based on feedback and data.
  8. Suggest innovative plans for program design and quality improvements.
  9. Assist in setting operational goals, objectives, and standards.
  10. Represent the unit at meetings with stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of a High School diploma plus two (2) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ideal candidate will have skills in project or program coordination, managing multiple projects, excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and organization. Experience with LionPATH, FileMaker, 25Live, SIMBA, and Destiny is preferred but not required. The position requires flexibility for conference schedules, including occasional weekends and evenings.

This is an Intermediate level position with a hybrid work arrangement combining remote and on-campus work. Questions about hybrid work should be directed during the interview.

The salary range is $38,300.00 - $55,500.00, with additional information available on Penn State's salary structure.
