Job summary

Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is hiring consultants to support rapid growth in education-focused engagements, across the deal lifecycle from identification to post-transaction value realization.

We seek experienced Engagement Managers who can lead due diligence and client engagements, deliver data-driven insights, and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with commercial and operational due diligence in a management consulting firm.
• Experience across or within industries within Private Equity.
• Knowledge of customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups).
• Strong strategic problem solving with analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in formal and informal settings.
• Fluent in English.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
• Ability to take initiative and learn new skills.
• Creativity and ability to generate novel ideas.
• Aptitude for analyzing large data sets and identifying key issues.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a talented team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute due diligence engagements and post-transaction engagements aimed at supporting private equity funds and their portfolio companies.
• Ensure that findings are insightful and data driven.
• Forge strong client relationships and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
