Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools Foundation in the Denver metro area seeks an Executive Director to lead growth, deepen community partnerships, and implement the 2026–2029 strategic plan that serves more than 52,000 students.

You will report to the Board of Directors, oversee a philanthropy team and support staff, steward financial health, expand revenue channels, and advance equity in public education.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive leadership experience within nonprofit, education, philanthropy, or related field.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing fundraising strategies that achieve measurable revenue growth.
• Experience personally cultivating and securing significant philanthropic investments or partnerships.
• Experience translating strategic priorities into operating plans, measurable goals, and results.
• Experience managing and developing employees, working with a governing Board, and overseeing organizational resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of CCSF’s 2026–2029 Strategic Plan and translate pillars into annual priorities and measurable goals.
• Serve as CCSF’s chief executive, ambassador, and public voice with donors, partners, and the community.
• Build a strong partnership with the Superintendent and district leadership to advance district priorities.
• Oversee financial controls, budgets, and risk management to ensure sustainable philanthropy and growth.
• Develop and implement donor engagement strategies and revenue channels, including major gifts and campaigns.
