Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Education Manager to support and implement JA programs in the outer parishes, as well as provide operational and facilitation support to the JA Discovery Center Mobile Program. This role involves developing relationships with schools, recruiting and supporting volunteers, managing program logistics, and occasionally facilitating student simulations to ensure high-quality program delivery and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation – Outer Parishes
• Coordinate and implement Junior Achievement programs in assigned outer parish schools.
• Serve as the main point of contact for school partners and teachers.
• Schedule program delivery timelines and ensure materials are distributed efficiently.
• Conduct regular school visits to monitor program delivery and support teachers and volunteers.
Discovery Center Mobile Program Support
• Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of the Discovery Center Mobile simulations.
• Occasionally facilitate student simulation experiences to ensure program goals are met.
• Coordinate with team members and site contacts to manage logistics and program flow during mobile events.
Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers from local businesses, community organizations, and universities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers to foster long-term engagement.
• Match volunteers with program opportunities based on need and availability.
Administrative and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of program implementation, school participation, and volunteer involvement.
• Provide reports and feedback to leadership to assess program success and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align program delivery with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in education, nonprofit management, business, or a related field. Considerations made for 1 year experience in education, volunteer coordination, or program management.
• Required - Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable with public speaking and facilitating youth-focused educational activities, ability to work independently and travel regularly to schools in surrounding parishes, reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and must be able to lift 30lbs
