Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Education Law Attorney in Riverside, CA. The role offers flexible remote work with a portion of the week available remotely, and requires at least 4+ years of education law-related litigation experience. The candidate will work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the California State Bar.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience with trials or administrative hearings is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing, research and communication skills.
• Civil litigation experience; preferred for public entities or education agencies.
• Knowledge of laws governing public entities, immunities, and claims statutes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, assess, and execute litigation strategies through all stages of litigation.
• Conduct depositions and manage written discovery processes.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, offering liability and damage analyses.
• Represent clients in hearings, motions, and mediations.
• Review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Develop legal strategies to resolve cases effectively and cost-efficiently.
