Job summary

Robbins Schwartz seeks an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of applicable experience to join as an Associate in the Student & Special Education practice.

The attorney will advise school districts on student discipline, residency and enrollment, student records, bullying and harassment, accommodations, and special education matters involving identification, evaluation, placement, services, discipline, and due process rights.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the bar in the state where you intend to practice is required.
• 2+ years of applicable experience as an attorney is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of difficult and complex legal work with substantial discretion.
• Research and analyze the law on complex issues.
• Synthesize research into memoranda or briefs for clients, courts or arbitrators.
