Job summary

The Montessori School of Raleigh and Carolina Preparatory Academy seek a Director of Information Technology to lead technology strategy across both campuses. The role reports to the CFOO and guides infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and IT services to support academic and administrative operations.

The successful candidate will build a high-performing team, manage the technology budget, collaborate with leadership, and ensure resources align with the schools’ mission and priorities

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology in an educational or multi-site environment.
• Strong governance to ensure data privacy and cybersecurity compliance.
• Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and projects to support school operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy aligned with Montessori/IB pedagogy and operational priorities.
• Lead the technology team, including supervision of key IT staff and external vendors.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data governance, and infrastructure modernization for two campuses.
