Job summary

Fort Wayne Zoo is seeking Education Interpreters to enhance guest experiences by sharing animal information, care insights, and conservation messages. This temporary role supports exhibits, events, and education programs while embodying the Zoo’s values and delivering outstanding guest service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (GED preferred) and experience in hospitality, cultural attractions, or education. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, cultural attraction, or educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests of all ages; engage and communicate key messages.
• Present clear and engaging messages about species information, FAQs, and conservation.
• Maintain habitat areas; keep spaces clean and safe.
• Assist with special events and educational programs as needed.
• Represent the Zoo with a positive attitude and guest service.
