Job summary

Hendrick Health is seeking an RN educator to plan and supervise educational programs for the Hendrick Clinic. The role includes organizing community and in-service training to support professional development and Joint Commission education standards.

You will participate in direct nursing care while coordinating curriculum, ensures policy compliance, and collaborates with nursing leadership to meet accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required unless otherwise approved by the Director.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinic or hospital clinical experience across listed units.
• Active RN license and CPR certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate educational programs for the Hendrick Clinic.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director

Minimum Work Experience

1 year in a Clinic setting or any of the following hospital clinical settings:

• Med/Surg (Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Ortho, SNF, and Out-Pt Infusion)
• PCU and Med/Tele
• Critical Care Unit
• Cath Lab
• Women and Children (Mother/Baby, Perinatal, and Neonatal ICU)
• Trauma (ER)
• Operating Room (OR)

Required Licenses/Certifications

(Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider).

• Registered Nurse
• CPR Certification
