Job summary

HENDRICK MEDICAL CENTER BROWNWOOD seeks an Education Instructor- RN for BW Critical Care to lead nursing education programs, annual competencies, and orientation for professional development. This full-time role supports community outreach and quality initiatives while participating in direct nursing care when needed.

Responsibilities include planning, developing, and evaluating educational programs for the unit, ensuring Joint Commission standards, and promoting professional growth among staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required unless approved by the Director.
• Minimum 2 years in a hospital clinical setting.
• Experience in a Critical Care Unit preferred.

Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster, including but not limited to: community outreach, annual competencies, quality initiatives, orientation, and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.
