Job summary

UNSW is seeking an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer (Education Focussed) to contribute to educational excellence in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology, emphasising neurological rehabilitation. You will develop learning activities, deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and participate in program accreditation and quality assurance.

At Level A you’ll deliver teaching with guidance; at Level B you’ll design innovative approaches, manage courses as Course Authority, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia as an exercise physiologist (highly desirable).
• Experience in exercise physiology practice, particularly neurological rehabilitation (e.g., spinal cord injury).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to support diverse backgrounds and promote equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Understanding of UNSW aims, objectives and policies.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and willingness to training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs with engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
• Support course administration, assessments and resources with guidance from senior academics.
• Contribute to program accreditation activities and maintain pedagogy and exercise physiology expertise.
