Job Description
The Department of Family and Community Medicine has a longstanding history of recruiting family medicine professionals who pursue academic positions upon graduation. This fellowship includes clinical time (6 sessions per week) and educational time (4 sessions per week).
The educational component offers dedicated time for medical student education, residency training, direct clinical supervision, and mentoring with our faculty. The fellow will identify an academic project to complete throughout the year.
Requirements:
Founded in 1824, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has awarded over 31,000 medical degrees and has more living graduates than any other private medical school in the nation. The Department of Family and Community Medicine has graduated 372 family physicians since 1974. Many national leaders in family medicine have roots in our department.
