Job summary

Safework, a construction management firm, seeks an Assistant Project Manager with Educational Facility experience to support planning, budgeting, scheduling and contract administration on new and modernization projects. You will coordinate with district management, review documents, mitigate risks and ensure closeout compliance.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, knowledge of BIM and web-based PM systems, and experience with LEED/CHPS is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5 years’ experience managing multiple design and construction projects.
• Experience with capital improvement programs and public codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and reviewing project management activities.
• Support resolving complex construction project issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Track project status and prepare management reports.
• Review and develop contract documents in coordination with others.
• Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans.
• Close out projects including DSA and PMO/district closeout.
