Job summary

HES Facilities in the United States is seeking a mover/utility technician to support school facilities with safe, efficient movement of furniture and equipment across classrooms and sites.

No prior experience required; pay rate $18/hr. You may assist with light painting, grounds work, and other tasks, following safety procedures and team directions; lifting up to 50 lbs and working up to 8 hours a day. Opportunities for growth and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
• Punctual, dependable, and professional in demeanor.
• Must be able to work with a diverse group of people.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Previous moving or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
• Previous grounds experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport furniture and classroom equipment within the school building.
• Set up and arrange classrooms or event spaces according to provided layout plans.
• Handle materials carefully, following all safety procedures and lifting protocols.
• Assist with organizing storage spaces and maintaining clean, hazard-free work areas.
• Work collaboratively with team members and take directions from supervisors.
• Grounds or landscaping.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
