Position Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1st Shift - no weekends

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or education degree with Supervisory Certificate; Master's degree preferred.
• Special Education Certificate highly preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, knowledgeable about teaching in applied behavioral analysis, organized, and excellent educational and administrative communication skills.

Join Merakey as an Education Director at our Mount Pleasant, PA location. We offer a salary of up to $75,000 annually. The Education Director is the operational leader of the school, responsible for ensuring program regulations and best practices are implemented, managed, and maintained. This role involves providing ongoing administrative, educational, and clinical program direction, including development, evaluation, and planning, while maintaining all educational state mandates for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Promote Merakey Core Values in daily operations.
• Oversee profit and loss for programs.
• Manage daily program operations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement policies and procedures as directed.
• Maintain compliance with state, local, federal, and contractual requirements, including those from education agencies and payors.
• Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure fidelity of educational and clinical components of the program.
• Maintain HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
