Job Description
Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Philadelphia Early Intervention Center is seeking an energetic and passionate PDE-certified Teacher to serve as the Early Intervention Lead Teacher for our special education preschool. This role involves providing classroom instruction, mentorship, caseload management, and ensuring IEP compliance.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents and community resources, adhering to the core curriculum, managing case documentation, and implementing special education plans.
We offer the right candidate an opportunity to join our multidisciplinary supportive team working with children with disabilities and their families in a warm, friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of IEPs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom and guide staff. The position is based at our Philadelphia school in Wynnefield Heights and is a full-time, benefits-eligible position working a 44-week schedule.
