Job summary

Education Analytics, a nonprofit focused on improving student outcomes through data, analytics, and technology, seeks a Data Analyst II to analyze complex education data, build analytic workflows, and create tools and visualizations for partners. On-site in downtown Madison with possible remote flexibility for experienced candidates.

The role spans data integration, statistical analysis, and developing data products while collaborating across teams and with education partners.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with a statistical language (R or Python) and data-processing packages.
• SQL proficiency with complex queries in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (linear/logistic regression, ML) is desired.
• Familiarity with Ed-Fi data standards or ability to learn complex data standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with education data through the analytical process from integration to products.
• Develop data products, visualizations, and reliable analytic workflows.
• Collaborate with education partners to translate data needs into practical solutions.
