Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in the United States seeks an Education Content Manager to ensure pedagogical soundness, contextual fit, and safety across digital and AI-enabled teacher support initiatives in its Foundational Learning portfolio.

You will collaborate with content creators, country teams, and the Airbel Impact Lab to develop culturally relevant modules, test content, and translate QA insights into practical improvements for teachers and learners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Education or related field; or Bachelor's with equivalent professional experience.
• Classroom teaching experience.
• International experience in low-resource, crisis- or conflict-affected contexts.
• Experience developing education content grounded in evidence-based pedagogy.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting content.

Responsibilities

• Test, QA, and troubleshoot digital and AI-enhanced programming; assess accuracy, clarity, pedagogy, and cultural appropriateness.
• Provide clear QA logs and collaborate with developers to fix issues.
• Red-team digital content to identify edge cases and safety gaps.
• Synthesize findings into prioritized recommendations for content and product fixes.
• Review engagement data to surface signals of impact on teacher learning and uptake.
