Allied Universal in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol Monitoring to safeguard clients across various sectors, including education. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Position is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $14.25 per hour. The role requires a background check, drug screen, and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational facilities, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
