Job summary

KIPP Memphis Public Schools is seeking an Education Assistant to support teachers and students at KIPP Memphis Collegiate High. You will assist with lesson materials, monitor student progress, and help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment.

The role requires a college credential (associate degree or two years of college or ParaPro score) and strong communication and organizational skills. Evening or field-trip support may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college (minimum 48 semester hours) or ParaPro passing score.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to communicate with teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily lesson plans and materials preparation.
• Provide individual or small-group support to students.
• Review, grade, and record homework and tests with the teacher.
• Help monitor student safety and behavior in class and on trips.
