Job summary

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage experienced educators across K-12 and higher education for teaching, curriculum design, assessment, and instructional technology. You will design realistic tasks, review AI-generated outputs for alignment with standards, and create structured examples reflecting how educators reason through problems.

You will provide clear written feedback to improve AI performance in teaching and instruction, and collaborate asynchronously with the research

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in education (K-12 or higher-ed teaching, curriculum/instructional design, assessment, or related field).
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a subject-related field.
• Comfortable with classroom tools: Google Classroom, Canvas, PowerSchool, assessment/curriculum platforms.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic educational scenarios and tasks drawn from day-to-day work (lesson planning, assessment, item writing, grading).
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, standards alignment (Common Core, NGSS), grade-level appropriateness, and pedagogy.
• Create structured examples reflecting how educators reason through problems.
• Provide clear written feedback to improve AI performance in teaching tasks.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team.
