Fox Valley Technical College is seeking a dedicated professional to lead and coordinate transition and retention initiatives. You will collaborate with student success staff, faculty, college leaders, and community partners to develop programs that support at‑risk students and improve degree completion.
Responsibilities include guiding services, assessing barriers, coordinating resources, and providing wraparound support such as financial literacy and career counseling.

This position will lead and collaborate with student success employees, instructional faculty, college leaders, and community partners to develop and implement transition and retention strategies. The role will coordinate the development and delivery of services to support students at risk of not completing their programs, assess and address barriers to academic success, and connect students with appropriate institutional resources. This position will also partner with student support services, academic departments, and community agencies to ensure that district-wide transition and retention services are accessible, and will identify external resources for referrals to enhance students success and degree completion.
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Work must be completed primarily in person with occasional opportunities for virtual work Work may be completed at other locations. Work environment may change based upon college needs.
Sitting: This role requires extended periods of sitting while performing tasks and utilizing computer systems. Mobility: While much of the work is desk‑based, occasional mobility may be necessary for attending meetings, office tours, or events within the workplace. Repetitive Motions: Capacity to perform repetitive motions, such as typing, without discomfort or injury. Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees, candidates, and stakeholders, both in‑person and through electronic means.
Ability to travel to other locations is required.

Starting Range: $57,100 - $67,200 per year. Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data. Note: Internal applicants’ wage will be based upon the applicable compensation guidelines.
