Job summary

Oral Roberts University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate education courses such as early childhood, elementary, ESL, or pedagogy, and graduate courses in curriculum and instruction, reading, school counseling, or trauma‑informed pedagogy.

Candidates should hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in related fields or possess terminal degrees with coursework in specified areas, and have 3+ years of P‑12 teaching experience. Brightspace LMS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in relevant education field for undergraduate teaching.
• Doctoral degree or equivalent coursework in curriculum/reading/school counseling/trauma‑informed education.
• Minimum three years of P-12 teaching experience.
• Experience using Brightspace or other LMS.

Responsibilities

• Teaches undergraduate courses in education through in-person instruction.
• Teaches graduate courses in education with curriculum aligned to InTASC and ORU standards.
• Uses hands‑on and inquiry‑based teaching methods.
• Maintains an accurate and current grade book.
• Communicates with students via Brightspace.
• Utilizes Zoom for Hy‑Flex students.
• Reports to Undergraduate Department Chair.
• Teaches curricula aligned with InTASC and ORU standards (Graduate).
• Maintains grade book and communicates with students via Brightspace.
• Reports to Graduate Department Chair.
