Job summary

ATLAS, a KU research center, seeks a New Product Development Lead to guide NPD strategy and lead multidisciplinary teams creating ATLAS K-12 products. You’ll shape market research, testing, and cost models, and foster agile capabilities across staff.

You will collaborate with center leadership and external partners, communicating strategy and outcomes while managing multiple priorities in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with significant experience) in education-related fields and 4+ years in related work.
• Experience using agile development methods in K-12 educational products.
• Experience collaborating on cross-functional teams to co-develop and test new products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail evidenced by prior work.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to design, test, develop and launch new products aligned with ATLAS strategy.
• Coach teams in agile product development and continuous improvement of methods.
• Develop and drive new product development strategy with center leadership.
• Communicate with external audiences about ATLAS products and services.
• Support special projects and additional duties as needed.
