Job summary

Louisiana Special School District seeks an Educational Technology Consultant to support seamless integration of technology into teaching and learning. You will partner with educators to design, implement, and support digital tools, learning platforms, and instructional strategies that drive student engagement and outcomes.

The role collaborates with the IT department and other stakeholders to ensure accessible web properties and effective technology adoption across programs.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree plus six years of experience in education, administrative services, web development, or graphic design.
• A master’s degree plus four years of experience in education, administrative services, web development, or graphic design.
• A doctorate in education plus two years of experience in education, administrative services, web development, or graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating technology hardware and software for educational merit and uses.
• Coaching educators on how to use digital tools effectively.
• Troubleshooting technology devices to ensure teacher success.
• Maintaining accessible agency web properties (website and social media).
• Collaborating with the Information Technology Department for technology implementation.
