Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Primary Care Physician for the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) Ambulatory Care Service.

The incumbent provides comprehensive medical care within the PACT framework, managing chronic conditions and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. The role includes women’s health responsibilities for female veterans, preventive screenings, and potential travel to other facilities within OVAHCS to meet service needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care under the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model.
  • Manage chronic conditions and evaluate/intervene on inter-current medical issues.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver accessible, coordinated care.
  • Perform preventive services including sex- and age-specific screenings and women’s health duties for female veterans.
