Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced automotive program manager to lead cross-functional teams in design competitions, commodity management, and milestone delivery. You will drive Design Change Requests, oversee commodity timing, and coordinate with Purchasing, Systems Engineering, and Finance to ensure profitability and on-time releases.

The role requires a strong background in eDrive or related transmission components, excellent communication, and the ability to escalate issues to director-level

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field; business administration considered.
• 6+ years of automotive experience with cross-functional product development.
• Ability to motivate teams and external partners to deliver on time, cost, and quality.
• Strong communication and program control skills to drive deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead design competitions to optimize costs and profitability.
• Lead milestone delivery within GPDS parameters on time with high quality at best cost.
• Lead milestone assessments, communications and reporting up to Director levels.
• Collect and enter Integrator assessments.
• Lead TPMT for your commodity and manage DCRs to limit DCR quantity and cost.
