Job summary

The County of Santa Barbara is seeking an EDP Systems and Programming Analyst I/II to design or modify, and monitor computer application systems, assist users with issues, write reports, and manage automated jobs.

Ideal candidates have experience with SQL databases, dashboards, Power BI, and Tableau; strong data analysis skills; and the ability to work across platforms, with proficiency in C#, Java, Groovy or Visual Basic.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting Microsoft SQL databases and writing queries.
• Experience with dashboards and Power BI data analysis.
• Knowledge of Tableau dashboard creation.
• Strong data collection and analysis methods.
• Experience modifying stored procedures and maintenance plans; SQL queries.
• Ability to work across databases, cloud apps, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Groovy and Visual Basic.
• Experience in service ticket management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with EHR or Case Management system administration.
