• Night Shift Position: 10% shift differential added to base hourly rate

Job Description

The Machine Operator can run multiple machines effectively, identify problems, and inspect parts daily using various inspection equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate EDM/multi-axis machines, load/unload parts, inspect, prepare electrodes, and change them.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Document machine operation and production data.
• Transport parts, maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Review records, prepare reports, and communicate with team members.
• Operate various tools and equipment as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up and switch jobs efficiently.
• Track materials and maintain machine gauges and tooling.
• Maintain excellent attendance and verify parts conform to specifications.
• Manage scrap and seek corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain multiple machines within a manufacturing cell.
• Follow quality standards such as AS9100.

Requirements

• Strong machining skills and understanding.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (must provide documentation).
• Meet ITAR US Person requirements (documentation required).
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to read part drawings and use measurement tools accurately.
• Follow instructions and perform tasks as directed.
• Pre-employment testing for safety compliance.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in conventional machining like milling, drilling, turning.
• Relevant education or training in machining.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Stand, use hands, reach, communicate, lift up to 35 pounds, and wear PPE. Loud environment; accommodations available for disabilities. Must work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
